My Journey
For years, I struggled with persistent gut issues, cystic acne, unexplained fatigue, anxiety, and low mood. Each time I looked for support, I was put on the pill and prescribed multiple courses of antibiotics, but none of it addressed the root of what I was experiencing. I began to feel unheard, and eventually realised I had to take matters into my own hands.
It became clear that my diet, lifestyle, and lack of real stress management were at the centre of what was going on. I wasn’t nourishing my body in the way it needed, and I had no real tools to manage the impact of daily stress. My hormones were out of balance, and the acne, bloating, exhaustion, and anxiety were all signs - my body’s way of letting me know something wasn’t right.
I got to a point where I knew I didn’t want to settle for feeling “just okay.” I was ready to feel better - to look better, yes - but mostly, I just wanted to feel well, physically and mentally. I committed to learning everything I could about nutrition and supporting my body holistically. I began to understand that food isn’t just fuel - it’s medicine. What I chose to eat had the power to either support or deplete me. I made small, consistent changes - and slowly, things started to shift. My gut healed. My skin cleared. My mood lifted. I finally started to feel like myself again.
I know how easy it is to accept feeling ‘not quite right’ as normal - but we don’t have to. When we learn how to support our bodies with the right nutrition, tools, and habits, things really do start to shift.
Because when you feel good in your body, everything else begins to feel a little easier too.
